The Upper School program of studies provides sound liberal arts foundation. A minimum of 21 1/2 credits are required for graduation. Beginning with the class of 2014, 22 credits will be required. A credit is earned by successfully completing a full year course and half-credit is earned by successfully completing a semester course, which begins and ends during one semester. A minimum of five academic courses must be taken each semester. Please note that course offerings depend upon student enrollment and may not be offered every year. Advanced Placement courses are the most rigorous, followed by Dual Enrollment and College-Prep. The following criteria are considered prior to course placement: final grades in previous courses, PSAT scores, attendance records, teacher recommendations, and student writing samples.
