The Annual Fund is the annual giving campaign where Broadwater asks (either by letter, phone, or in person) its community of supporters (parents, alumni, staff, grandparents, etc.) to make a donation to the school. These contributions can be directed to areas of the school’s operations that most interest the donor; for example, academic programs, arts, athletics, scholarships, etc., and are tax-deductible. The Annual Fund campaign kicks off each September; however, donations maybe be made at anytime. Our fiscal year runs July 1 to June 30, and Annual Fund donors are recognized in our Annual Report.
In addition to providing needed operating dollars, the Annual Fund is a strong indicator of the school support and plays a vital role in Broadwater’s ability to secure grant funding and in its peer rankings.
