Dear students, parents, and guardians,
Below, please find the Broadwater Academy English and social studies summer reading lists and assignments for grades 9-12. Titles have been thoughtfully selected based on a number of factors, including their relevance to grade-specific English and social studies curricula. Finding the best texts to challenge, inspire, and motivate our students is always our intention.
Students will also be assigned summer math work designed to reinforce previously learned concepts and prevent skill regression over the break. All assignments will be completed online through IXL. Below are the required topics for all courses, along with recommended pacing guidelines. Please click here for instructions on how to log in to IXL
We hope you will encourage your student to read regularly and keep pace with math this summer. We thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Kate Lacks
Upper School Director
